Dahlia Shipping and Policy Information

 

Shipping and Handling of Dahlia Tubers

 

Bridget Wilson Flowers will begin shipping orders in late March or early April after the risk of freezing temperatures has passed. Please note that we only ship dahlia tubers within the United States; international shipping is unavailable.

 

We usually ship USPS Priority Mail, which typically delivers your tubers within 2-4 days of shipping. Every shipment includes tracking for your convenience.

 

Bridget Wilson Flowers sells dahlia tubers grown without chemicals on our farm. We sell them individually and price them online accordingly. 

 

Shipping Fee 

We charge $15.00 per box of dahlias. We will not combine orders; we will ship them in the order they come in.

We offer free shipping on all orders over $250 dollars. 

 

Please double-check your shipping address. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses or for returns due to address errors. We will charge additional postage for the re-shipment of any returned orders.

 

Local Pick-Up

Local pick-up is available, and you will be given the option to choose whether you would like your dahlias shipped or if you would prefer to pick them up. Our pick-up location is:

You will receive an email notification when your pick-up order is ready. Please email info@bridgetwilsonflowers.com with any questions or requests. 

 

Shipping Timeline

Depending on when your order was placed, orders will not be shipped until late March or early April. Most shipments will occur during the second week of April and continue through the end of the month. If temperatures remain below freezing, we will delay shipping by one week.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Our dahlia tubers are sold individually and are guaranteed to contain at least one growing eye. 

 

If you encounter any issues or are unsatisfied with your order, please contact us at info@bridgetwilsonflowers.com within 7 days of receiving your dahlias. 

 

Please Note: Bridget Wilson Flowers is not responsible for damage from poor growing conditions, improper storage, pests, or negligence. While we take great care in packaging, we cannot guarantee the condition of tubers once they leave our farm. 

 

Your Cart

Items in your cart are not reserved until you complete the checkout process and receive an order confirmation email. If items disappear or are marked "Unavail" ble" during  "checkout, it may be because another customer completed their purchase first. Our web platform determines this, and it is beyond our control.

 

Shipping Restrictions

Bridget Wilson Flowers ships only within the USA. We are unable to ship to Canada or any other country.

 

Returns and Refunds

Please inspect your Dahlia tubers upon delivery and notify us within 7 days of any concerns. We strive to provide the highest quality tubers and want to ensure your satisfaction. For any issues, please get in touch with us at info@bridgetwilsonflowers.com 

 

Substitutions and Cancellations

All sales are final, and we do not accept cancellations. Should a specific tuber be unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you and work together to find an alternative. We sometimes lose some of our dahlias in storage, so we will do our best to replace them with another of your choosing. 

 

Dahlia Virus Awareness

We adhere to all American Dahlia Society (ADS) recommendations to manage disease in dahlias. Our practices include sanitizing tools during harvesting and dividing tubers and implementing a pest management protocol using only organic products.

 

However, it's important to note that, according to ADS research, 87% of healthy, asymptomatic dahlia plants may carry at least one virus. We continue to take measures to minimize the risk of dahlia viruses, but please understand that they can be present without visible symptoms. If you have concerns about your plants, please get in touch with us promptly. Often, a plant appearing "unhealthy" may" require proper fertilization or hydration.
